Program title: Speaking of the Chameleon: Adapting to diverse audiences
Program description (<120 wds): We live in a diverse country. We travel and speak globally. We need to be able to adapt who we are being to be accessible to diverse audiences both at home and abroad. We need to be culturally aware and understand the differences that are important. One style does not fit all. In this interactive, early morning session, we will increase our versatility, our own ability to modify our style, to read the cues we get from our audiences and to adjust in the moment!

I’ll send you an attendance estimate on the Wednesday before the event, by email, to enable you to gauge the number of handouts or other materials to bring with you. Attendance estimates are, of course, only estimates.

If you would like me to introduce you, please send me your introduction by the Thursday before the event.

I’ll be in the room by 7:05 am, checking that all is well. I’d be greatly relieved if you can be there by 7:15 am. Your program begins promptly at 7:30 am and runs until 8:30 am. Please prepare about 50 minutes of material, and expect some spirited give-and-take.

We don’t offer a fee or honorarium, but you won’t have to pay the breakfast fee. You may sell products between 8:30 am and 9:00 am in the breakfast room.

We generally don’t supply A/V equipment for breakfasts, since the audience is usually fewer than 10. If you want attendees to have handouts, please bring them with you. We encourage handouts.
